NEA Certification Ecz Exclusion List

The Ecz Exclusion List is the foundation of the Seal of Acceptance standards. Products seeking this seal must not contain any amount of any of the listed ingredients. As these substances are known irritants and allergens, all companies applying for the Seal agree not to use them in product formulation.
The Ecz Exclusion List is continuously evolving over time in response to new scientific data and innovations.

6. Citrus limon(lemon)peel powder
7. Formaldehyde

12. Myroxylon balsamum /(Balsam of Talu)
13. Myroxylon pereirae resin /(Balsam of Peru)
14. Neomycin sulfate
15. B Polymyxin B sulfate
16. Propolis
17. Shellac
In addition to the Ecz Exclusion List, the following requirements must also be considered:
● All products must be fragrance-free. US. labeling regulations require companies to indicate on the label whether fragrance is present.
● Chemical UV absorbers are not accepted, such as chemical sunscreen agents. Only physical sunscreens containing titanium, zinc, and iron are considered.
● Products containing formaldehyde-releasing agents are not accepted.
● Products containing cannabidiol (CBD) are not accepted.
