Aluminum composite panels (ACP) consist of a coated aluminum surface layer and a plastic core made of materials such as PET or PE, manufactured through a specialized bonding process.With excellent properties including lightweight, durability, and versatility, ACPs are widely used in building facades, curtain wall systems, renovation projects, interior walls and ceilings, signage, display structures, and cleanroom applications. ACPs are widely recognized as modern architectural cladding materials.
CE Certification for Aluminum Composite Panels
According to the EU Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011, there is currently no applicable CE certification scheme specifically available for aluminum composite panels exported to EU countries.
We have found that some certification bodies in the market provide CE certificates for aluminum composite panels, mainly based on the following standards. However, these standards do not comply with the certification requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
