GREENGUARD certification is the first voluntary indoor air quality certification in North America specifically developed for commercial building products.
This certification requires products to meet strict chemical emission requirements, including testing for more than 360 VOCs and limitations on total chemical emissions. Certified products comply with the BIFMA x7.1 standard.
GREENGUARD Gold certification is specifically developed for children and other vulnerable groups who are sensitive to health impacts. It is based on key indicators established by public health organizations. This certification sets the world’s most stringent emission limits for more than 360 chemicals and also restricts phthalates. Certified products comply with California Section 01350 requirements.
