According to the EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR 305/2011/EU), fiber cement boards exported to EU countries are subject to mandatory CE certification. The certification scheme is as follows:

EN 12467 defines four categories of fiber cement boards based on their intended service conditions:
Category A: Boards for high temperature, high humidity, and severe frost conditions
Category B: Boards for high temperature, humid conditions, and occasional frost
Category C: Boards for high temperature and humid conditions without frost
Category D: Boards used as rigid backing materials
Different types of boards require specific test programs and cycling requirements as defined by the standard.
