    Certification and Registration

    Image Name

    Sterilization Permit Registration of Disinfection License Number

    Category:

    Sterilization Permit

    As animal hair, such as down, feathers, and wool, may carry pathogenic bacteria, if the processes for washing, sterilization, and storage are not appropriate, the hygiene indicators of animal hair used as soft filling materials may fail to meet requirements, thereby affecting human health

    Therefore, in addition to URN registration number, some US. states require down bedding products sold in that state, such as quilts, pillows, mattresses, etc., as well as second-hand bedding products, to bear a label marked with the Sterilization Permit number issued by the specific agency of that state government. Otherwise, the products may not be placed on the market for sale.

    Audit Method for a Sterilization Permit

    2.The washing time of one cycle by the down washing machine;

    Approval Procedure

    After the auditor completes the on-site assessment according to the required audit contents, the completed audit form, assessment report, and on-site photos will be submitted to the Sterilization Permit issuing authority for final approval

    The approval process generally takes 1-2 months.

    Certificate Validity Period

    The certificate is valid for 1 year. Before it expires, the enterprise should submit a renewal application to the certificate issuing authority and pay the renewal fee. The audit organization may decide, depending on the situation, whether to dispatch personnel to the applicant enterprise for a surveillance assessment before the certificate expires
