HRIPT/RIPT Principle of the Human Repeated Insult Patch Test
The test sample is applied to the subject’s back or arm. After maintaining exposure for a specified period, the sample is removed and the skin reaction is evaluated for signs of irritation or allergic response, such as erythema, papules, and edema. Multiple application and challenge cycles are conducted over several weeks, followed by a comprehensive analysis of the test results.
